Withdrawal & Exit

Members are eligible to make a savings withdrawal after a minimum of 3 months of continuous saving. This ensures that your funds have had time to work for you and the SACCO. If you have an outstanding loan, your savings may be subject to lien until the loan is fully repaid. Please contact the SACCO administration to initiate a withdrawal request.
If you exit the SACCO, you are entitled to a full refund of your savings balance. As for your shares, they are first offered to existing members who wish to purchase them. If no member comes forward to buy them, the SACCO will purchase the shares on your behalf using the Share Transfer Fund โ€” a dedicated reserve set aside from the SACCO's annual surplus for exactly this purpose โ€” ensuring you receive the full value of your shares promptly.
In the event of the death of a member, the SACCO will process the release of the deceased member's savings and shares to the named beneficiary/next of kin in accordance with the SACCO bye-laws. Please ensure your beneficiary information is kept up to date with the SACCO administration.
